Your nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026 has been successfully submitted

Avner, Sara, Benjamin and Yair Netanyahu.
Today on October 7 the Faroese Member of Parliament Jenis av Rana announced a secret that has been well kept since January 2026: The nomination of the Netanyahu family for the Nobel Peace prize!
Jenis av Rana is the most experienced member of the Faroese Parliament. While he was minister of Culture- and foreign affairs, he was the driving force behind the establishment of a permanent Faroese representation in Israel. Jenis is the founder of the Christian Faroese party “Miðflokkurin” (Centerparty). He is also a board member of “Med grundlov skal land bygges” (With Constitution land shall be built), the organization that have co-founded the danish Judeo-Christian party “Sund Fornuft” (Common Sense).
In a letter to the Faroese news outlet vp.fo, Jenis explains why he has nominated the family;
Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting our battle and everyone else’s against terrorists who do not respect human life and whose aim is to place the entire world under an violent ideology. His family carries the burden together with him. To honor this great man and his family is a privilege for me, which I undertake with the greatest humility and gratitude.
One of the many beautiful stories told in the Bible is the story of Queen Esther, which we read about in the Old Testament. She saved her nation from the deepest distress; she was the queen for her time. The same is true of Benjamin Netanyahu: he has been appointed by God as prime minister for his time. He is a leader who sees the danger and does not fear the enemy, but fights for the salvation of his own nation and many other nations and peoples.

Since the nominational letter was sent to the Nobel comittée in January, Netanyahu has further contributed to peace, ensuring the release of the last remaining hostages, taking out the nuclear threat from Iran, and currently negotiating peace between Israel and Lebanon.
Common Sense congratulate the Netanyahu familiy with the nomination!
